Guardian Angel

I have spent years traveling the wilds of Canada from Northern Manitoba to the wilderness areas of Labrador and on the Island of Newfoundland. I look back on some of the marvelous adventures that I have been fortunate enough to have experienced and cherish, these are some of my favorite memories.

Especially among these I include viewing for hours the Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights as known locally. Yes, for each and every viewing it was an adventure that one cannot forget.

We may all have our different beliefs or disbeliefs but we all know there is a greater power that we cannot fully understand. It is nice to think that there may be other planets that have supported life as we have on Earth. It is even greater to imagine what is possible out there in the universe.

The Northern Lights give a feeling of the serenity and peacefulness that has to be experienced, these experiences cannot be explained to the extent of actually being able to live the experience. A person cannot fail to realize and appreciate the power of the creator, and our guardian angels that are watching from above. I created this portrait in an attempt to share my thoughts at those times, while wondering and appreciating all.
