Hypnotizing

Mankind has always been fascinated by the Northern Lights, as far back as 300 BC, when Aristotle thought that the cause of these lights was that there were cracks in the sky, allowing in light from the heavenly sphere, I’m certain it was a  mystical event to observe.

I have often been camped out and while preparing lunch I would hear the wolves well off in the distance howling and communicating to the Spirits. They would be extra enthusiastic when the moon was at its most radiant.

It is quite amazing that when the Northern Lights would begin swaying across the sky doing their mystical dance, there was no way that any creature could ignore the splendor. Yes, even the wolves would pause their singing  to sit quietly entranced by the greatest show outside this Earth.

The most amazing thing about the Aurora Borealis is that no matter how often you see them, you never cease to be amazed by the hypnotizing displays as they sway and dance back and forth presenting beautiful curtains of light in the sky.

I hope you will get from this portrait even the slightest pleasure that I receive every time that I am able to simply stare at this wonderous event in the skies.
