Thunderous Crashing

Traveling in the back country during the rut season can be a very dangerous time because these bulls have such a high adrenalin level that they will attack anything that moves, at least until after mid-October.It’s late September month and the Bull moose are out and about, ever seeking a fight to gain dominance over his harem. It is not uncommon to hear them battling fiercely, sometimes to the death but thankfully it is not common for moose to be injured to the extent that one will die.

Any bull still lurking around after mid-October will be beat up fairly bad, he won’t feel like attacking anyone.
