Grizzly Country

I created this portrait to illustrate the love of raising a family in the mountains of British Columbia. There is always one little member of the family that will be adventurous, fun to watch, but sometimes gets himself into a little trouble, it’s a good thing Mom is near-by.  Imagine the curiosity of little Charlie when he spotted a strange creature watching them.

Meanwhile, his brothers and sister have also spotted the intruder, his sister little Betty has run over to Mom and is screaming her discomfort about the stranger. The littlest one, Joey, is running to Mom also, but Charlie’s brother Tommy is fascinated and is simply watching with eyes wide open.

Mom also now sees the human who stumbled onto their meadow, however, she isn’t concerned because the creature is now beating a hasty retreat back down the mountain.

All ends well.

Every portrait tells a story … some good, some not so good but this one works out just fine for all.
