Solitude

Often at very remote locations I will come across a scene that is total bliss, you think to yourself “Wow! this is totally awesome”. You will be right but don’t think for a minute that you are alone.

All around you there is a busy bustling community, there are birds, crows, fox, loons, beaver, caribou, bears, I can go on and on but there is a wilderness community all around you. You would be amazed at what is happening near you. Use your senses and you will hear and see them, they are there!

In this scene I have painted in one little family and the late evening colours will capture you, so when you are out in the country look harder, listen harder and you will find them. You are not alone and won’t be again no matter how deep into the wilderness you go, simply enjoy the quiet solitude, its yours to appreciate.

This scene is to help you learn to appreciate and live the experience that awaits you. Nature is for all of us, enjoy it without destroying it. It is up to us to ensure that our little friends and also, the bigger friends are able to live on in stability and security.      This is for the benefit of this great planet that we are fortunate enough to have inherited. Its ours to appreciate and to share
